Abstract
Gyroresonant acceleration of charged particles is explored in light of much that has been learned about the interaction of electromagnetic radiation and electron beams during decades of development of gyro-amplifiers and gyro-oscillators, examples are shown for high-gradient acceleration of electrons, muons and protons.
