Abstract :
A fuzzy sliding-mode speed controller with torque feed forward compensation was proposed for high performance IM drive application. Firstly the sliding-mode speed controller of asynchronous induction motors was designed. Then, the fuzzy control was used for optimizing the switching on the sliding surface, meanwhile, the observed torque was employed to improve the robust of speed controller. Finally, the good performance of the speed controller was verified with simulations and experiments
