Abstract :
Using a hollow cathode as an electrode of an ac-pumped HCN-laser allowed to considerably improve its spectral-energy characteristics. It is obvious that two identical electrodes are necessary to ensure effective performance of the ac-pumped HCN-laser. In the given work, the electric-discharge HCN-laser is being investigated which includes the amplitude-anisotropic resonator in which a plane mirror and an output mirror formed as a wire grid have been used as its mirrors.
