  • Abstract
    The authors consider the NHK MUSE high-definition satellite broadcasting system, and discuss its family systems and studio signal standards. Compatibility with the NTSC system and use of an RF bandwidth and augmentation channel are considered, and signal multiplexing for higher resolution is discussed. Resolution characteristics of the ADTV system are considered
