Abstract :
The authors consider the work of the European project Eureka 95 working group PG05 on HDMAC coding and decoding. In particular they discuss the transmission of the HD signal by a MAC-type channel by evaluating the transformation of data to comply with mandatory constraints, and the transmission, under the best possible conditions, of the luminance and chrominance data and digital assistance data. The development of a linear chain is described, and motion compensation for HDMAC is discussed
