Abstract
The problems of feeding and the interface aspects towards the mains of the single-phase permanent magnet motors are studied, used for small power appliances and equipped with integrated control-feeding cards; on the basis of the machine model and considering the converter structures, the distortion features of the absorbed current are analysed, as a function of the constructional and functional parameters, examining the improvement opportunities. The analysis is completed with some experimental results
