Abstract :
Reviews magnetospectroscopy on solids for mm- to IR-waves and presents the latest results on spectroscopy in megagauss magnetic fields and infrared spectroscopy in destructive megagauss fields using explosive flux compression. Magnetotransmission results for HgSe and GaN are discussed.
