Abstract :
Radiation at wavelengths longer than about 20 microns will penetrate clothing for the detection of concealed weapons better than the shorter wavelengths. In this paper, we give preliminary results on application of an uncooled bolometer array operating beyond 20 microns to the detection of concealed weapons.
