Abstract :
This paper describes NMIJ´s activity of developing the S-parameter standard for 3.5 mm coaxial lines at radio frequency (i.e. from 10 MHz to 100 MHz). The long air line (i.e. 300 mm) is used as the primary standard in NMIJ. The S-parameters of the air line are evaluated by measuring the dimensions and insertion loss. The uncertainties of the S-parameters, estimated by Monte Carlo simulation, are sufficient small to practical use.
