Abstract :
In this paper, digital forms of the quadricorrelator, which is an ideal frequency detector, are presented. The proposed circuits consist of conventional digital logic devices without analog elements. Therefore, they have superior reliability in respect of component drift and aging effects. The frequency linear discrimination range can be adjusted from ±20% to ±100% with simple modifications
