Abstract
The most adequate way to take into account the uncertainties which affect the modelling of unbalanced three-phase power systems including HVDC interconnections is to express the input data by random variables and to apply probabilistic techniques of analysis. In this paper, a probabilistic three-phase AC/DC power flow is proposed able to take into account the interactions that arise under uncertainty between the HVDC transmission system power converters and the unbalanced three-phase AC system. Both a Monte Carlo procedure and a linearised form are proposed. A numerical application to a test system is also discussed
