Abstract :
Of all the building automation systems, heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems (HVAC) are most important from the viewpoint of saving energy and improving the quality of the indoor environment. Therefore, adopting efficient control strategies for air-conditioning plays a vital role in developing improved energy management control systems(EMC) for intelligent buildings. At present, variable air volume (VAV) air-conditioning system is the main steam of the whole air conditioning system in China and abroad because of its large energy conservation. This paper divides the VAV systems into AHU part and terminal part based on the coordination control strategy. Coordinate control method based on the variable static pressure strategy is applied to the whole VAV air conditioning system since the intelligent building has distributed automation system. It makes the AHU part and terminal part form the whole system. The validation was made in the paper and the results show that this coordination control strategy is efficiency
