Abstract :
A novel polarization diversity coherent optical receiver with a balanced receiver configuration is proposed. A low power penalty was achieved and a highly stable more than 3 hour long operation has been demonstrated as a result of a 400 Mb/s-150 km FSK single filter detection transmission experiment
