Abstract :
To counter the growing lack of experts in the IT sector, and to give, at the same time, a possibility for lifelong learning, a consortium of north German universities has initiated the project “Computer Engineering Online”. The goal is to develop and to publish an eLearning online study program for computer engineering in winter 2012. Referred to the blended learning strategy, the bigger part of the study program is offered by an online portal, which also provides the content for mobile devices (mLearning). This enables extra-occupational studies and a high temporal and regional flexibility for learners.
