Abstract
Examines the parallel implementation of the equations of motion of a six degree of freedom aircraft model for use in a real time flight simulator currently under development at the Royal Military College of Science (RMCS). The parallel structure of the system equations is examined showing how the simulator can be partitioned into a number of independent processes. A design example, using an H∞ controller, is given to illustrate some of the methods of parallelisation
