Abstract
The general avalanche phenomenon in complex networking systems is studied in this paper with a novel proposed sandpile model, where the betweenness centrality (BQ is introduced based on the classical BTW sandpile model. Owing to the non-uniform distribution of the BC value in Euclidean lattices, both the analytic investigation and numerical simulations state that the fragility in the center of Euclidean lattices is much enhanced, which results in the increase of avalanche scale
