Abstract
The PWM of output voltages of a voltage source inverter which feeds a three phase AC motor is described. The AC motor-inverter connection is treated as a uniform system of variable structure. The PWM is given by choice of an appropriate inverter switching state which keeps the sliding mode of the inverter´s output current control. The definition of sliding conditions by a modified Lyapunov statement gives a possibility for an optimal choice of the inverter´s switching state
