  • Abstract
    All-optical pulse shaping scheme for the generation of UWB doublet pulses is experimentally demonstrated. The scheme is based on a modified-Kerr-switch with parametric amplification. Using the scheme Gaussian pulses are successfully converted into doublet pulses.
