Abstract :
This paper begins with four aspects: the disappearing “ dwelling place of the Fairy”, the covered living fossil, coexistence and mutualistic symbiosis, as well as its revival and exploitation, focuses on expounding “Enshi as a dwelling place of fairy” and how to revive and exploit the Stilted Building (DiaoJiao Lou). Culture is the connotation of building up Enshi as “a dwelling place of fairy”, and to build up “ dwelling place of fairy” is the base for rival of Stilted Buildings architecture of Tujia nationality. At the same time, to revive and exploit the Stilted Building is one of the important components of development of Enshi. Therefore, giving full play to the advantage of geographical feature and displaying its brand effect will be an ideal approach of constructing Enshi as “a dwelling place of fairy” which gives connotation to ecotourism culture.
