Abstract
Results for signal level and bit error ratio (BER) measurements at 905.15 MHz for a modern two storey office building with externally located base station are presented. The main thrust for these experiments was to establish the radiowave propagation characteristics in order to specify handover criteria for outdoor to indoor environments. The authors noted that there were large variations in signal level and BER in both the first and the ground floors
