  • Abstract
    Though there are many reports on the models of XeCl-laser and mode of XeCl-lasers operation, for an analysis having clear physical sense it is useful to discuss a simplified kinetic model for quasi-steady mode. Approximation expressions for rate coefficients of kinetic processes on the basis of the solutions of Boltzmann equation for electrons in constant electrical field are used. The main chemical species and kinetic processes were taken into account in our simplified kinetic model. The model enables to calculate an electrons, atom and molecule concentrations, specific energy deposition in active medium, and power of generation. The correlation between power of generation and concentration of major chemical species is investigated
