  • Abstract
    CEM has developed a new ac-dc current reference in order to improve the measurement capabilities and to extend the measurement range to 100 A and 100 kHz. The new reference is based in a step-up procedure using the combination of special design shunts and Planar Multijunction Thermal Converters (PMJTC). The new CEM ac-dc current reference, the validation method and the results are described.
