The 21st century is a knowledge economy times, combining technology and industrial design has become a important way to improve the added value of products and revitalize the national economy by design competition force. This paper, from the reality in china, proposes using industrial design to change the pattern of economic development in China and improve the design competitiveness based on the successful experience of home and abroad, then forms a group of well-known brands with independent intellectual property rights and competitive enterprises. At last, this paper puts forward some suggestions based on a new industrial development´s prospect.
