Abstract :
A new time-frequency analysis method named LFMT (linear frequency modulation transform) is presented in this paper. Differing from the bilinear time-frequency expressions, LFMT is a linear transformation, it fundamentally avoids the cross-item problem in multi-target analysis. This paper also discusses the relational expression among the parameters in DLFMT (disparate LFMT). Finally, an example on applying the LFMT method to compute the spin frequency of the unslotted projectiles is given
