  • Abstract
    This paper documents the development of the OpenCourseWare Consortium, from the origins of the OCW concept at MIT and that Institute´s early commitment to supporting other adopters of the model, to the rapid growth of the community in the period 2004-2007, to the Consortium´s incorporation as an independent entity and current activities and status.
