Abstract :
A new transformation called pole-parameter transformation (PPT) has been introduced. This permits one to generate new families of transitional filters based on Complementary Pole-Pair Filters. The resulting low-pass filters have increased flatness near the origin and equi-ripple nature as the cut-off frequency is approached, thereby increasing the slope at the cut-off frequency
