Aeronautical charts for electronic flight bags

This paper surveys the current practices in aeronautical charting and investigates suitable technologies for future production of electronic charts like EFB (Electronic Flight Bag). This paper also addresses the main issues associated with electronic display of aeronautical information and the potential benefits gained through the use of electronic aeronautical charts.
