Abstract :
An approach to evaluation of the comparison results of inductive voltage divider (IVD) based on an S-shaped curve of ratio error V.S. nominal ratio. The calibration methods of IVD are all based on certain postulations such as the reference section stays constant during the whole calibration procedure especially it must be independent of the potential of its associated guarding system, which were difficult to meet in case of a real divider. Therefore, there was a D-shaped curve of ratio error V.S. nominal ratio. An approach to correction of the D-shaped curve to the S-shaped curved based on the analysis of an X-shaped curve of section error V.S. nominal ratio was introduced to evaluation of the results of an international comparison of inductive voltage divider.
