Abstract :
This paper presents a Class-E power amplifier (PA) realized in GaAs HBT technology for hybrid quadrature polar modulation (HQPM) application. A digital predistortion scheme is implemented to improve the linearity between supply voltage and output envelope of realized Class-E PA for HQPM application. The developed system prototype is capable of transmitting CDMA2000 lx signal very efficiently.
