Abstract :
The authors introduce a statistical traffic analysis for management and control software package, called ASTER, which can be implemented on microcomputers. The package features: dedicated to urban traffic data analysis; using advanced statistical methods, such as factorial analysis and automated clustering; can be used by non-statisticians; and presenting a wide range of visualisation and representation tools
