Abstract :
With the development of computer technology and Internet, digital watermarking has been proposed as a solution to the problem of copyright protection of multimedia documents such as image, audio and video in networked environments. A new digital image watermarking method based on block-SVD (singular value decomposition) is presented, and then some theoretical analysis about the algorithm is given. In watermark extraction, the novel idea of detector compensation to distortion is proposed. Extensive experimental results show that this method is much more robust than other methods presented before, and this method has a low computational complexity, which is fit for embedding a watermark into a large image
