  • Abstract
Waveform section technology is a method of detecting the abrupt change of statistics characteristic of the signal and determining the abrupt location. The coefficient of the autoregressive model is different between before the abrupt change and after the abrupt change of signal. The generalized likelihood ratio can measure the range of the two coefficient groups. The maximum likelihood ratio might be transformed into a measure of the range. The underwater acoustic transient signal can be detected by the range measure
