Innovation of management model of sport event based on knowledge management

In order to keep the sustaining competence of sport events in the times of information and knowledge, the paper tries to solve the fatal problems sport events are facing through the innovation of event management model. The knowledge management applied successfully in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games can help improving the intellectual level and organizing efficiency. The thesis proposes KM-SM model, the sport event management based upon knowledge management, which is new and original to promote the managing proficiency of event organization.
