  • Abstract
    A tunable polarization-independent LC microlens arrays using surface pinning effect of polymer dispersed liquid crystals (SP-PDLC) is demonstrated. The mechanism includes residual phase modulation in bulk region and double-layered phase modulations near glass substrates.
