Abstract :
Methods for the modeling and calculation of radiant interference in GIS are discussed. A radiant thin wire model of a domestic GIS is set up and the 3D-electromagnetic fields in this substation are computed by means of the numerical electromagnetic code (NEC). A method to minimize the calculation error using the NEC thin wire model is proposed.
