Abstract
This paper presents a digital image stabilization scheme subjected to rotational and translational motions including zooming. An equivalent rotation model with scaling term is suggested to accommodate arbitrary base motions, and based on this model, the scaling factor is estimated. After the zoom effect is compensated, the rotation center and angle are estimated, and followed by the motion compensation. To show the validity of the present stabilization scheme, simulation results are given for some synthetic images.
