Abstract
We present in this paper an electronic circuit implemented in Austria Microsystems (AMS) 0.35 μm CMOS technology for a neuron cell part of the multi-nested"" neuron family of the Cellular Neural Network (CNNs). The CMOS universal neuron circuit has three inputs and two nests. Static and dynamic SPICE simulation results are shown and verify the model and functional capabilities of a universal CNN neuron cell described in a companion paper by R. Dogaru et al. (2003).""
