Abstract :
The authors look at the new post production facilities at the BBC Television Centre and its routeing system design needed for operational facilities, incorporating about 180 VTRs and telecines in total. The routeing system provides a high level of security and matrix control. They also describe the aspects of system tuning, choice of VTRs and the various technical levels within the post production areas
