Abstract :
In high-speed PCB design, parallel microstrip transmission lines are common, in which a serious crosstalk problem usually arises when dealt with incorrectly. In this paper, based on the mode of two parallel microstrip transmission lines, we discussed the crosstalk problem with coupled transmission lines theory. Then, the crosstalk problems under several circumstances are simulated, so as to analyze the influence of the crosstalk in different conditions. Finally, some methods of restraining crosstalk have been summarized to provide some qualitative advices for PCB design.
