Abstract :
In distributed power monitoring system, WorldFIP enables more reliable and more efficient solutions than other communication protocols. This paper proposed the developing method of a new power parameter meter based on WorldFIP fieldbus protocol. The hardware scheme based on the 32-bit embedded system is introduced, including analog handling circuit, A/D converting controller and communication round card. A design of integral period AC synchronous sampling based on FPGA is used to gain high accuracy, and the main process in VHDL is given. By using of recursive DFT algorithm in software the calculation burden is decreased greatly. The testing results show that this meter can work as subscriber of WorldFIP network and the measurement accuracy meets the design requirement
