Abstract :
Due to severe signal degradations caused by multi-path propagation and high temporal and spatial variability of the channel conditions, existing phase coherent UWA communication systems are sensitive to the channel condition and receiver parameters. In this paper, cyclic prefixed single carrier block transmission with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) is proposed for high-speed UWA communication. The impact of diversity is also studied. The simulation results show the advantage of SC-FDE in UWA channel. It can compensate phase offset and frequency selective fading and realize robust high-speed UWA communication with the implement issue of low complexity.
