Abstract :
The present paper introduces the progress on high power semiconductor lasers devices and fiber-coupled modules. The laser device and array´s fabrication technologies have been expounded, with emphasis given to such central issues as high output power, conversion efficiency, laser beam characteristics et al. Finally, the future prospects of high power semiconductor lasers developments have been analyzed.
