Abstract :
The author have modelled, designed and built a DC-DC one output resonant converter, 5 V-100 W maximum, and extendable toward multi-output and higher power convertors. Numerous problems are solved such as choice of the structure, choice of the components with their parasitic impedance at high operating frequency, determination of the losses, resonance conditions. They present a steady-state analysis and design equations of the power stage of the quasi-resonant parallel load unidirectional and zero-current switching DC-DC convertor with 80% efficiency at rated load with a switching frequency up to 600 KHz
