Abstract :
The studies carried out on AC machines have revealed that the asynchronous machine plays an important role in the realisation of digitally controlled electrical drives. The authors present new control laws for asynchronous machines. The implementation of these laws is made possible by an entirely digital control structure, which guarantees high performances and respect the electrical drive requirements. The authors make use of modern control and signal processing techniques, including stochastic filtering. The modelling of the controlled process is done in the state space yielding a discrete model in view of a real time control. Since the magnetic flux is a nonaccessible parameter, its components have been estimated by means of a discrete Kalman and Bucy filter. A quadrature flux control law associated with speed regulation of an asynchronous machine is presented. A quasi-experimental verification allows validation of the different proposed control laws which are to be used in the asynchronous speed drive
