Preface

This year there had been 155 qualified submissions to RIVF´07, from authors originating from 25 different countries. More than 90% of submitted papers, or 141 papers, had been evaluated by at least three referees. The 90 referees coming from 23 different countries have brought to RIVF´07 their notorieties, privilege, and have been impressive with their careful, detailed evaluations. As a result, 43 papers were selected to be included in the IEEE Proceedings, for an acceptance rate of just less than 28%. All selected papers are of high quality, and we are very proud of the professionalism of all authors, all referees and program committee members.
