Abstract :
This paper presents a high resolution direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation method for wideband signals employing modified conjugate ESPRIT (C-SPRIT) and discrete Fourier transform (DFT) operations. C-SPRIT and its modified version have a property that they can accurately estimate DOAs of correlated incident waves without spatial smoothing. This paper tries to apply modified C-SPRIT to DOA estimation of wideband signals. Accuracy and computational cost of the proposed DOA estimation method are evaluated through computer simulation in comparison with some conventional methods.
