Abstract :
Under wireless cellular system, the cell coverage area (CCA) is the essential indicator for supporting customers. In this paper, an analysis of CCA concerned with location of base station and log-normal propagation are considered. The outage probability from numerical results with uniform traffic shows that the proper base station location can give optimum CCA.
