Abstract :
In order to challenge the students´ responsibility, motivation and participation in mathematics courses this paper reports an action-based research about some ways to tackle such tasks for increasing their motivation and course engagement from a “teamwork” competence. Their comments and suggestions provide strategies to improve the results obtained.
