Abstract :
Traditional BGP establish forwarding table according to the routing policy, which makes all kinds of traffic flows toward same destination can only use one link concurrently. This manner increased the cost of administration, the probability of network congestion and the effect-cost ratio of physical links, etc. In this paper, we demonstrate a novel inter-domain routing method based on hybrid metrics. In this way, routers can maintain different preferable reachable routes for different transmission service so that administrators can execute more policies. The simulation results reveal good scalability and performance than BGP.
