Abstract :
This paper calculates and analyzes the comparative advantage and competitiveness of industries of travel, transport and other business services in China and India respectively for the period 1998–2007 based on three indices of revealed comparative advantage. It then makes a comparative study of those industries in China and India. And we find that comparative advantages exist in travel services other than transport and other business services and there is substantial room for improvement in transport and other business services in China. In comparison, other business service has much more comparative advantage than travel and transport service industry in India.
